to learn, but please, slow down. For example, the last thread clearly concluded with you holding off on turbos in favor of supporting mods. The advice also said that, if/when you do go to bigger turbos, go to 530's. Now, you say you are buying some 500's (used? if so, did you ask for feedback on used turbos?). 500's are considered outdated because the 530's are so much better with almost no more lag, better spool, and only cost a little more. 500's are okay, if you have to replace turbos anyway, don't have much money, and don't have a large hp goal. Since you just talked about keeping your stock turbos, and want more hp, I assume this doesn't fit you. .... This process you're going through is good, if you can develop some patience and not spend any money until you've learned more ... a lot more. Another suggestion: keep an eye on the classifieds. The choices of which to buy first could depend on what deal comes up.
